- The Humanist discussion group will meet on Sept. 10th 2004 in Kreves Hall at 7:30 pm. This is a Friday evening, and an exception to our usual meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. We make this exception because it is our pleasure and privilege to have Dr. Howard Radest address our group. Howard Radest is a Professor of Philosophy, an Ethical Culture Leader, a founder of the IEHU, Dean of the NYC Ethical Culture Schools, Past Dean of the Humanist Institute, Head of the South Carolina Bioethical commission, and professor at Buford College. Howard Radest will speak on "Democracy In A Time Of Terror".
